£5,000 awarded to three local charities through our Acorn Fund

We’re pleased to share the latest round of grant-giving through our Acorn Fund, delivered in partnership with Suffolk Community Foundation. This latest round focuses on three organisations supporting families, young people and disabled communities across Suffolk

The Acorn Fund Impact Report, recently published by Suffolk Community Foundation, highlights the outcomes and impact created from our grant-making between 2022 and September 2025. The grants awarded here sit beyond that reporting period and reflect the Acorn Fund’s ongoing work.

A total of £5,000 has been awarded to three organisations making a meaningful difference locally:

  • The Lullaby Trust – supporting their work to reduce the risk of sudden infant death and provide safer sleep guidance to families across Suffolk.
  • Murrayside Community Trust CIC – helping to expand activities across their two youth clubs, creating better opportunities and improved life chances for disadvantaged young people.
  • Ipswich Sports Club for the Disabled – supporting weekly sports sessions for local disabled people, helping to build confidence, connection and access to physical activity.

Since launching the Acorn Fund in 2014, we have donated over £60,000 to 41 local causes, supporting charities and community organisations working across Suffolk.
