We take our environmental responsibilities seriously; we do all we can to reduce the impact we have on the environment around us and encourage all our staff to do the same.
We are committed to running the business in an environmentally conscious and sustainable manner, by minimising our carbon footprint wherever possible and ensuring we are fully compliant with all our environmental responsibilities.
On a day to day basis, we have measures in place throughout our offices to make it as easy as possible for our staff to work in an environmentally conscious way. Recycling is easy and accessible; from paper and plastics through to pens and batteries. Any waste which cannot be recycled is disposed of in an environmentally approved way and we make every effort not to use electricity unnecessarily.
We make full use of technology such as Skype and other online meeting systems to avoid unnecessary travel and our fleet vehicles have low emissions. Part of our business is already ‘paperless’ with other areas due to become so in the near future, which will further significantly reduce our paper use.
We engage with our staff to encourage environmentally friendly methods of commuting, which also links to our health and wellbeing agenda and Cycle to Work scheme in the UK.
We are always considering new ways of working which will help us reduce our environmental impact further and to help make a positive impact on our local environments. We also work hard to ensure that our workplace environment is safe, healthy and enjoyable.
